Every dental practice uses a variety of dental equipment, which creates a degree of complexity when a service technician is called. At Sirona we have one distinct advantage over our competitors: as a factory direct supplier, we only sell and service Sirona equipment and selected complementary Sirona partners (Durr, Nitram, Melag and Schick).

Our service team are trained in our product, giving them a focus and expertise level un-matched by any other service team in Australia and New Zealand. In addition, we have structured the Technical team so that there is a Technical Product Specialist for each of the four main categories of equipment – Treatment Centres, X-Ray, CAD/CAM and Instruments/Hygiene. By doing this, we have provided focus within our focus. These Specialists are responsible for information flows, training, resolution of difficult issues and communication within our Service team.

Included in our broader Service Team are a number of independent service technicians and companies across Australia and New Zealand. Sirona has developed a tight network of high quality, customer-focused technicians and we work hard to ensure that they are included in communication and training. By doing this we are able to ensure that our customers can get the service required in a timely and effective manner. Preventive Maintenance Programs


Treatment Centre Annual Maintenance Program


  • Clean the waste system
  • Clean the suction system
  • Clean traps and replace filters
  • Check air and water pressures
  • Check air and water flows at the handpieces
  • Replace wear and tear items such as o-rings, diaphragms and seals

     

  • Handpiece Preventive Maintenance Service


  • Replacement of bearings and O-Rings


  • Complete clean of the parts (including the chuck)


  • Re-assembly to the exacting standards of Sirona, including mounting the bearings using the factory-approved assembly method
